What should I wear?

Form fitting and comfortable exercise clothing similar to what one would wear to yoga is recommended. If your clothes are overly loose it may make it difficult for the instructor to observe your form and make necessary corrections during your class or private session. Dress so that you are able to move freely, but not too loose fitting that may hinder your exercise performance. There are many movements that could cause a loose shirts or shorts to drift up. We recommend an under garment for men as you will be lying down and shorts do ride up. Please do not wear pants that are not draping over your feet as that could interfere with your performance and be dangerous to you and other clients. Pilates is meant to be taken barefoot similar to yoga so grip socks are optional. Hygiene is of the utmost importance and we do wipe down every reformer after every class.
