Culver City, California

Named after its founder, Harry Culver, Culver City is a small neighborhood with a size of a little over 5 square miles. Since the introduction of better transport systems like the LA metro, the city has witnessed more tourists and businesses than before with upscale restaurants and bars opening up shops in the area.

Once dubbed “California’s film capital”, the city boasts of a rich art heritage which has inspired film, design, and creative studios to deepen their roots in Culver City and call it home. With the headquarters of Sony Pictures Studio located in the heart of the city, Culver City has also garnered the alias “Home of Sony Pictures”

Bounded by Santa Monica to the east blah blah blah, Culver City is one of the top neighborhoods to visit in LA as it is also home to Apple, Nike, Amazon, Scopely, Beats Music, Platform- an outdoor mall which has so many restaurants and boutiques to choose from.

The major places to visit are; Downtown Culver City; an increasingly pedestrian friendly destination along Culver Boulevard and Culver City Arts District;with galleries along Washington Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard and Helms bakery; shops and restaurants are major tourist areas because of their accessibility on foot.
