Studio Age Policy
Clients 16 to 17 years of age must attend one private pilates session at Tribe Pilates to receive instructor approval prior to joining group classes. Upon receiving instructor approval, students between 16 and 17 may attend group classes with a parent or guardian present at the studio during the entire duration of the class. All pregnant clients can attend group classes during their first trimester, but must inform their instructor that they are pregnant. All pregnant clients will be required to get instructor approval as well as provide a doctor’s note prior to taking classes during their second or third trimester (14-27 weeks). Our goal is to maintain a safe and positive experience for all clients at Tribe Pilates so we appreciate your understanding of the steps needed to take to achieve this with clients having future Tribe members!
Lost and Found
Tribe Pilates is not responsible for items lost, misplaced, or stolen while visiting a studio. However, our community of clients look out for one another and often return found items to the front desk. If you think you may have lost something, contact Tribe Pilates staff at info@tribepilatesstudio.com to check! Items are held at the desk disposed on a month-to-month basis.
Dog Policy
Dogs are not allowed in the classrooms, class area or private ares of the studio.
Class Switch Policy
Class switches are not permitted. Late switches cause open reformers in waitlisted classes, which prevents a fellow student from getting into class. Please only book classes you can definitely attend. Late cancel fees will apply if the request is made within 12 hours of the class for unlimited members. Single or package reformer class members are unable to switch classes once the 12 hour cancellation window has lapsed.
Class Lateness Policy
Clients are only permitted to enter within 5 minutes after a class starts to keep our clients safe and the flow of class moving. Please arrive 10 minutes early to secure your spot. If you are not present promptly at class start time, your spot can be given to a client waiting on standby after that 5 minute period lapses. If you are denied class entry due to lateness, you may attend a later class.
Waitlist Policy
Our system will automatically add you to class if a spot becomes available within a reasonable period of time prior to the start of class. We recommend continuing to check the schedule in case a spot does open up and you can manually add yourself to class as well. Standard cancellation policies apply. If you anticipate you will not be able to attend class, simply remove yourself from the waitlist 12 hours in advance to avoid late cancel fees. You will receive an email or text notification confirming when you have been added to class from the waitlist.
Class Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your reservation with no charge up to 12 hours prior to the start of your scheduled class. Tribe Pilates has a strict 12 hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made with less than 12 hours notice will result in a $15 Late Cancel fee for members and non-members. You will still retain your single class credit.
Cancelled classes cannot be switched within the 12 hour window. All sales are final.
Class No Show Policy
If you are not going to make it to class please make every effort to cancel to allow another client to take your spot. Absence to class without a cancellation will result in a $20 No Show fee for members and non-members. You will still retain your single class credit.
Private and Duet Cancellation Policy
Private and Duet Sessions have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you need to reschedule, cancel, or miss your session, you will be charged for the full cost of the session or one will be deducted from your package.
Class Expiration Policy
Standard single session and package classes expire 8 months (220 days) from the date of purchase. All Tribe Pass packages expire 30 days from the date of purchase.
Extension Policy
We do not allow any extensions of your existing packages. You must use your classes in your given package time period.
Monthly Unlimited Membership Usage Policy
All monthly unlimited memberships and packages are limited to one class per member per day. All memberships including the first month membership promotion are set up with auto-renewal in place unless we are notified. The first month membership promotion will automatically renew to the month to month membership following the completion of your first month unless we are notified that you would like to switch to the 6 month membership or turn off auto-renewal.
Monthly Unlimited Membership Hold Policy
All members receive one free hold per twelve-month calendar year. For example: If you suspend your membership in January of the current year, then your next free pause would not be available until the following year. If you need an additional hold within the current year after your free hold, then additional holds are available for $5 for each hold. Members may place their membership on hold for a minimum of seven days and a maximum of six months.
To hold your membership, email info@tribepilatesstudio.com with the exact begin and end dates needed. You must get written email confirmation of both the hold and release of the hold. Medical suspensions may be put into place free of charge following the receipt of a valid doctor’s note.
Monthly Unlimited Membership Cancellation Policy
Members may cancel their month to month membership with 14 days remaining on the current month via written email notice. If a cancellation request is within 14 days of your renewal date then you will be subject to payment of the following month as well, which will be your final month at the studio under the membership. You will receive an email confirmation outlining your cancellation.
For example: If your payments process on the 14th of each month and you wish for August to be your LAST month of classes, you would request cancellation on or before August 1st to avoid any further payment. If it comes after August 1st then your last payment would take place on August 14th and your last day to join us for classes would be September 13th. Your membership monthly rate will be honored as long as membership is maintained. Reinstated membership will be sold at current market rate following cancellation.
First Month Unlimited Membership is set to Auto-Renew. No exceptions. If you wish to cancel after the first month ends, then the difference between the first month and standard monthly rate will be applied.
6 Month Unlimited Membership Cancellation Policy
Members may cancel their 6 month membership once the 6 months expire with 30 days written email notice. If you need to cancel your 6 month membership prior to fulfilling the 6 month commitment then there will be a cancellation fee applied that will be the difference between the month to month membership and 6 month membership rates, calculated based on remaining months remaining on the 6 month membership. You will receive an email confirmation outlining your cancellation.
For example: If your payments process on the 14th of each month and you wish for August to be your LAST month of classes, you would request cancellation on or before July 14th to avoid any further payment so long as your 6 month membership is fulfilled by August 14th. If it comes after July 14th then your last payment would take place on August 14th and your last day to join us for classes would be September 13th. 6 month membership rate will be honored as long as membership is maintained. Reinstated membership will be sold at current market rate following cancellation.
If your membership billing fails to process, Tribe Pilates will try to contact you via email. Your membership will be suspended and ultimately cancelled should you not provide payment within seven days of your bill date.
Consumers Right to Cancellation: You may cancel your membership contract without any penalty or further obligation within two (2) days from purchase date.
Billing and Contract Cancellation
If your billing fails to process, Tribe Pilates will try to contact you via email. Should you not provide payment within seven days of your bill date, your membership and booking privileges will be suspended until balance is received and account is in good standing.

What should I wear?
Form fitting and comfortable exercise clothing similar to what one would wear to yoga is recommended. If your clothes are overly loose it may make it difficult for the instructor to observe your form and make necessary corrections during your class or private session. Dress so that you are able to move freely, but not too loose fitting that may hinder your exercise performance. There are many movements that could cause a loose shirts or shorts to drift up. We recommend an under garment for men as you will be lying down and shorts do ride up. Please do not wear pants that are not draping over your feet as that could interfere with your performance and be dangerous to you and other clients. Pilates is meant to be taken barefoot similar to yoga so grip socks are optional. Hygiene is of the utmost importance and equipment is wiped down and disinfected before and after every class.
We encourage you to bring your own towel and reusable water bottle. We only have a water machine available and no cups.
