Los Angeles Valley College (LAVC) is a two-year college located at 5800 Fulton Ave, Valley Glen, CA 91401. Founded in 1949, LAVC has been integral to the Los Angeles Community College District. The college empowers students to succeed by providing them with the knowledge and skills needed for lifelong learning and career success.

At LAVC, students can choose from over 100 certificate and associate degree programs. These include degrees in business administration, hospitality management, and culinary arts; health sciences such as nursing, medical technology, and radiology; engineering technologies; liberal studies; science and mathematics; social sciences such as psychology and sociology; visual and performing arts; physical education; fashion design and merchandising technology; computer information systems; and much more.

The college offers various student services, such as counseling and advisement, health services, career planning and placement help, tutoring resources, academic support centers, library services, disabled student programs and services (DSPS), and distance education classes. The college also provides numerous opportunities for students to get involved in campus life through clubs and organizations, including the Associated Student Body, honor societies, intramural sports teams, theater productions, and other cultural events.
