The Brady Bunch' House

The Brady Bunch House is an American cultural icon in Studio City, CA. It has become a landmark since it was the home of the fictional Brady family on The Brady Bunch television series, which aired from 1969 to 1974. Inside, many original features remain intact such as orange shag carpeting in one of the bedrooms, wood paneling in all three bathrooms, and a kitchen with green patterned wallpaper. 

Due to its popularity amongst show fans, it became a popular destination for tourists who would come to snap pictures outside or pee through the windows. In 1995, Paramount Pictures purchased the home from its owner, George Mathers, for an estimated $61,000. In 2018, CBS Television Studios took ownership of the house because they had acquired Paramount Domestic TV, which included the rights to The Brady Bunch. 

Today, the house is used for special events such as weddings and birthday parties and filming locations for television shows and movies. However, fans of the show can still catch a glimpse of it by taking a tour that includes access to the backyard and pool area with permission from CBS Television Studios.
